ONE Big Family

OUR MiSSION

Living by Truth Ministries is to be a family centered, teaching ministry, that builds individuals and families one WORD at a time. Equipping them to reach our communities for Christ by doing the Gospel:

LEARNING timeless truth from God's Word to guide our daily lives.

We believe that God provided us with everything we need in scriptures to live an abundant life.

LIVING out biblical principles and provide a model for a Christ centered life.

We believe the greatest demonstration of the Gospel is a life lived that emulates Christ.

LEADING people to freedom in Christ so that may be truly free.

We believe people are looking for real Christians to follow and they must be exposed to truth to fa- cilitate true lasting change.

MOTTO. Learning, Living and Leading by the Truth that makes you free.  (John 8:32)

Our beliefs

The Bible: We believe that the entire Bible, both Old and New Testament, is the inspired Word of God. We believe that the Bible is without error in its original manuscript, absolutely infallible, and is our source of supreme revelation from God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12)

The Trinity: We believe in the Trinity; God the Father (Genesis 1:1-3), God the Son (Romans 3:22-25), and God the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4).

Jesus: We believe in the Virgin Birth and that Jesus Christ shed his blood on the cross for the remission of sin (Luke 1:26-31; Romans 3:25), for the regeneration of penitent sinners, and for salvation of all who believe (Ephesians 2:1-10, I John 3: 5-10).

Sanctification: We believe that Sanctification is a progressive work, accomplished by the grace of God, through the faith of the believer (Exodus 31:13, Hebrews 10:9-14).

The Second Coming: We believe in the eminent personal pre-millennial Second Coming of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ (I Thessalonians 4:15-18, Titus 2:13, 2 Peter 3:1-18, Matt 24:20-44), and we wait for his return.

Justification: We believe that repentance and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ produces the work of justification in the believer. Through faith in Christ, a believer is justified and made a partaker in the death of Christ. This is the initial step of salvation. (Romans 5:1,9; Luke 22:20)

Baptism: We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4; 10:46; 19:6) and that it is the seal of the New Covenant relationship between God and His people (Ephesians 1:13; 4:30; II Corinthians 1:22). Speaking in other tongues is the accompanying sign of receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Mark 16:17). We also hold that the real evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is one's response to the Word of God (John 16:13), a Christ-like life, showing forth Christ's character (John 15:26; 16:14; Galatians 5:22-23)

The why and the way we worship

WHY DO WE WORSHIP?                      WHY DO WE CLAP OUR HANDS?

"Thou shall worship the Lord thy God, and Him only                    "O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto Shall thou serve." (Matt. 410) Shall thou serve." (Matt. 410) (Psalms 95:6)                                  God with the voice of triumph." (Ps. 47:1)

WHY SHOULD WE WORSHIP GOD?       WHY DO WE PRAY WITH LAYING ON OF

Worship Him in Spirit and in truth." (John 4:24)                            "They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover" (Mark 16:8)

WHY DO WE LIFT OUR HANDS?           WHY DO WE USE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS?

"Lift your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the                            Praise Him with sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the psaltery

                                                                                                       (Psalms 150:3-5)

WHY DO WE GIVE AUDIBLE

PRAISE UNTO GOD?                           WHY DO WE SPEAK IN TONGUES AND

Bless the Lord O" my soul and all that is within me,                      INTERPRET?

Bless his holy name." (Psalms 103:1, Rev.19:1-6)                        "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to Every man to profit withal

to another divers Kinds of tongues; to another interpretation of tongues"

WHY DO WE PROPHESY?                    (1 Cor. 12 7-10)

"But he that prophesies speaketh unto me

To edification and exhortation and comfort.

(1 Cor. 14:3)
