Pastor Jackson served faithfully in various churches while serving in the United States Army. He received his spiritual foundation and leadership training from the Church of God In Christ. After retiring from active military service he and his family settled in Cambridge MD. He accepted the call to the Pastoral ministry in 2005 and remained faithful to God and his leaders until God gave him instruction to start Living by Truth Ministries.
God gave him clear instructions to build a “Family of God” and not a church. He also received instruction to start in a Hotel Meeting Room and the Ministry held its first meeting in the Holiday Inn Express in Cambridge, Maryland October 23, 2011. Expecting to only begin with his immediate family he stepped out in faith that God would send the people. The first service was awesome and attended by a host of family, friends and colleagues from ministries he served during his military service.
God was faithful to his Word and sent a group of God loving people to the Ministry prior to the Grand Opening and steadily since. Within the first three months, by divine appointment this ministry was pushed to look for another meeting place that later became the first leased space, where meetings could meet without restrictions. God has blessed and continues to anoint the services and the growth of His Church.
Pastor Jackson strives to be the example he expects his people to be. He labours untiringly in the ministry while continuing to work full time as an Administrative Management Specialist, for the U.S. Army and a Government Civilian. He also reaches for excellent in his call by perusing higher education, and Pastor Jackson will soon complete his Baccalaureate in Theology and Biblical Studies, with a minor, in Business from Regent University.
Living by Truth Ministries is a family centred teaching ministry, building individuals and families one Word at a time. We are striving to be a people who are Learning, Living and Leading by the Truth that makes you FREE! Pastor Jackson lives this motto and vision daily. He is open, accessible and full of love for God’s people.
Pastor Mia Jackson Is the Co-Founder of Living by Truth Ministries
Located in Cambridge, Maryland. She is very gifted impacting women internationally
Pastor Mia Jackson accepted the Lord at the early age of ten and grew in the Lord in the grand old Church of God In Christ. Coming from a family of God-fearing believers and a host of relatives in the fivefold ministry she learned the ways of God at an early age. She was born in North Carolina to Juanita and James Bennett where she received great impartation in the ways of God.

After rededicating her life to God, over 30 years ago, while stationed in Hawaii she quickly realized there was a call on her life to minister in a relevant way. Her ability to evangelize and encourage God’s people was quickly recognized by her Bishop and she was ultimately licensed as a Missionary in the Church of God In Christ in 1992.
Pastor Mia is co-founder of Living by Truth Ministries where she serves alongside of the Senior Pastor, and her husband of 36 years, Pastor Lamont Jackson Sr. Pastor Mia, which many call her, (Mom Mia), loves the Lord and she has a passion for prayer and a burden for youth, hurting women, marriages, and families. She is an energetic and virtuous woman of God that is anointed to minister the Word of God and encourage God’s people to seek the Lord with all their heart.

Pastor Mia Jackson plays an essential part in the Move of God at Living by Truth Ministries and together, she and her Husband make a great team of leaders fashioned after God’s own heart.

Pastor Mia is currently a student at Liberty University, where she is pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as a licensed therapist. Her passion is to see a holistic balance being brought to the minds of God’s people. She is an educator and liberator of the mental health disciplines, as it relates to the word of God. Her endeavors are to see the people of God’s minds set free to produce transformation, change, and healthy cognitive functions. Pastor Mia will forever remain a student of God’s word and His truths to be an effective Kingdom Citizen.
